Disappointing

I had a lot of trouble reading the Washington Post yesterday. On the front page, sharing room with the civil disorder in Egypt, was a story about how Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is going to drive the Senate agenda for the next two years, because we all know how the Democrats - as the majority party and White House occupant - can't resist the Borg's persistent attempts to destroy our country. At the bottom of the front page, there was a compelling story - about the hair length of the two Super Bowl contenders.

But hey, we're getting half the Sunday paper on Saturday now. What a deal. Our society is truly going down in flames, and the media is a mockery of its former self.
