Via Political Irony, here's an amazing Romanian woman who wants to tell us what a dick Kirk Cameron has become in his Christian zeal to educate us all. For an explanation of why she calls him "Banana-man," see the Political Irony post. Cristina has a collection of her thoughts online, and given her positive review of "District 9," I'm sold on her. She's a lot of fun and sharp as a tack.
If you don't like young, beautiful, entertaining women talking about progressive politics, you can always visit Margaret and Helen for old, feisty, entertaining women talking about progressive politics.

Thank you very much for this. It is alway good to find others out there who can make me laugh while poking the holes in the flat earth societies logic.
Cheers

Anyone who gives District 9 an unqualified "positive review" makes me wonder...

Dear Scathsealgaire,
As one who has been at the helm of aircaft carriers, frigate, cruiser, coastal minesweeper, in all the oceans, I can tell you that the earth is flat: I have seen Terry Pratchett's seas pouring over the Rim. It was George Bush who said he's been advised by the Pentagon that the earth is round, and Darwin was a Communist. Get an education for god's sake.

Sorry Scathsealgaire, you have every right to believe that the earth is round, but such ideas give me the willies.
