If Mr Bush was to be given that job, it would set back the efforts for peace in the Middle East and Afghanistan/Pakistan for years. He isn't perceived as a diplomat- to put it mildly. Like his pal, Mr Blair, he has no hope of shaking off the reasons (some still deliberately obscured by relevant departments in each of these gentleman's former places in government) for going to war. Mr Bush's perception to the world has rapidly become out of date, if this article from Newsweek is a sample of Mr Bush's personal ambitions. Even for those who may agree to the continuation and support of Israel's Occupation, and the "strategy" of the Afghan war, Mr Bush has had his day. So has Mr Blair. Best stick to the Lecture Circuit.

Sigger's Law

  • Sigger's Law: "As any discussion on terrorism grows longer, the probability of attributing terrorists with nuclear weapons (or similar destructive capabilities) approaches 1." Corollary to Sigger's Law: "Once such an observation is made, the discussion is finished and whoever mentioned terrorist possession of nuclear weapons has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress."
