Have you spoken to anyone about my Anthrax Mailing Response Card idea yet ?

Front says "in case of receiving white powder in mail rub card against envelope and see results on reverse side". Back says "it is not anthrax".

Millions in emergency services, business productivity and media resources saved. 100% success rate since 2001 as well.

Very funny. I need to get that idea out there.

I should say, it only works if the card is hexagon-shaped. Otherwise I'm gonna have a hard time patenting this.

Dammit! If people keep proposing simple, commonsensical procedures for dealing with "incidents," how will we maintain the state of near hysterical paranoia that primes the pump for unaccountable spending on unnecessary "security" measures? I mean, come on, what else are we going to spend all this money on? It's not like there are other public policy priorities.

Sigger's Law

  • Sigger's Law: "As any discussion on terrorism grows longer, the probability of attributing terrorists with nuclear weapons (or similar destructive capabilities) approaches 1." Corollary to Sigger's Law: "Once such an observation is made, the discussion is finished and whoever mentioned terrorist possession of nuclear weapons has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress."
