Jack Holt, who is the OSD Public Affairs person runs our Bloggers Roundtable, put out the word last week that they have a web portal called "DoD Live." It actually went live in mid-April, but I had not heard of this effort previously. This site ties a good deal of the DOD outreach efforts together, linking not only the DOD information to one site but also a good many milblogs (including this one). It's meant to supplement DefenseLink, not replace it, but I think I'll be coming here often to use its blogroll and to see what its authors are recommending.
I have also added quite a few new blogs to my blogroll.
Don Vandergriff, noted military author and commentor on 4Gen warfare
Graphic Firing Table, by the superlative FDChief
Informed Comment: Global Affairs, a group blog including Juan Cole
LT Nixon Rants, a Navy guy's point of view
Selil Blog, which discusses cyber warfare topics
Springbored's Springboard, a Navy blogger who has great posts
UbiWar, by Tim Stevens who blogs on war, technology, and the future
So many great topics, so little time.
